Graduation Project

The project required trend analysis, market research and client study to create mood, forecast, color, inspiration boards in order to develop 2 collections of hand woven and hand tufted rugs and dhurries for the US and European market.

Roots

As the name suggests 'Roots' define origin i.e. our real home where we can find peace and solace away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The focus is on textures created by different techniques. Rustic and natural textures emerge in the form of innovative designs providing a homely feel to the collection.

Playful Geometry

'Playful geometry' draws inspiration from modern architecture, optical illusions, origami, etc.
The pleasure of play inspires creativity in the designs. The palette features colours that are bold and can be complemented and balanced by the subtle natural tones
